The mission of The 3% Conference is to build the business case for diversity by championing female creative talent and leadership by offering content, community and professional development. I attended in 2014, it was awesome.
ADCOLOR champions diversity and inclusion in creative industries. They also have a program called ADCOLOR Futures that provides training, mentorship and empowerment for young professionals
Since 1973, MAIP has introduced over 2,400 diverse professionals to the world of advertising through a ten-week, paid professional development internship. Over 100 interns are placed at more than 70 agencies nationwide to learn fundamental, transferable skills, that will prepare them for the industry.
Founded by House of Appreciation, we are a collective of female producers in the Bay Area. We host a monthly meet-up called "Producer Therapy" to network, share resources and opportunities, and elevate each other's success.
Founded in 1972, by a small group of television commercial production companies concerned with a single issue, today's AICP has grown to represent exclusively, the interests of companies that specialize in producing commercials on various media - film, video, digital - for advertisers and agencies. AICP members account for 85 percent of all domestic commercials aired nationally, whether produced for traditional broadcast channels or non-traditional use.
The Producers Guild of America (PGA) is the non-profit trade group that represents, protects and promotes the interests of over over 6,500 member producers in film, television and new media. The PGA works to facilitate members health benefits, encourage enforcement of workplace labor laws, as well as other education and advocacy efforts.
